I have spent all afternoon trying to solve this one. Bigtime rookie.

The record source of my report is a query. I want my report to display data from the query that fall within two dates on a form. The Filter property is set to read:
= "BoardingDate Between Forms!frmReports!txtFrom And Forms!frmReports!txtTo"

Do I have a syntax problem or am I going about this the wrong way?

Thank you!

I'm not very good with dates but try this:
Code:
= "BoardingDate Between #" & Forms!frmReports!txtFrom & "# And #" & Forms!frmReports!txtTo & "#"

George,

Thank you for your help. I'm still getting the "Syntax error (missing operator) in query expression..." I also tried moving some things around without success. Any other suggestions?

Where are you applying this filter? In VBA? In the filter property?

Are you certain you've referenced all of your objects correctly?

I'm going out for the evening so someone else feel free to jump in.

I am applying the filter in the Filter Property of the report. Also, I re-checked my object references and everything looks good and simple. Do you have any other thoughts?
