Hi all,

I'm trying to filter a form and really struggling with it. I've spent some time searching the forum and tried the various solutions posted and can't get it done.

I want to filter products based on a checkbox, so a list of around 1000 products filters to show only the 100 or so 'active' products.

I can get it filtered by using the filters in Access and I can filter it by querying it but I really want to get it done with a button.

Any thoughts? Thanks in advance.

IMHO an option group would provide more flexibility. It would allow you to filter for ALL records, Active records or Non Active records.

However if you want to use a button you could make it so that it "Toggles" between two of the options. The attached db shows the use of an option group and a button on the form. The button is coded to toggle between All Records and Active Records.

If you have any further questions please post back.

That looks perfect, many thanks Bob :) I will test it and let you know if I can get it to work; I have a history with these things...
