filtering out all duplicates in a field

I have a list of text values. Many of them are duplicates. For example .....

Adam
Jon
Jon
Derrick
Chris
Chris
Chris

What commands would i use to put a criteria on this query where it will only show one occurence of each name like ...

Adam
Jon
Derrick
Chris

Try clicking the sigma (greek E) buttun, which should group your results
