filtering

hi all,

just wondering whether query can be done that will search through a table that will extract a list of payees. However if a payee was paid twice i just want it to appear once.

To get this to work you may be able to right click to get to the query properties and set Unique Values to 'yes'.

thanks for prompt reply. dont quite understand what you mean..

I had thought of making a table which was grouped by payee. the use that table to extract the list by removing the repeated payees and leaving just the one of each payee. 1. i dont know how, 2. seems to over elaborated.

Just select the name and group by it?

Just take your group by query and remove the amount... that should "single out" the payee's
