Hey guys-

How can I retrieve the size in twips of a form window? It seems to always be a guessing game when I use Me.Move in vba to set a window size. I've tried taking the form's width property (inches) and multiplying it by 1440, as well as '?me.move' in the immediate window, but no luck. Any suggestions?

Thanks,

Joe

That's how I use it. If I want something to be 3 inches I will use:

3*1440

as for the form, you can use the movesize or you can try using the InsideWidth and InsideHeight properties of the form. You can see if that works for you.

Me.InsideWidth = 3*1440
Me.InsideHeight = 4.5*1440

Weird....I must be doing something wrong. But you gave me an idea. Never really thought about letting the code do the multiplication for me...i was always calculating it manually and putting a single integer in there.

Twip actually stands for Twentyth Part of and Inch. If I remember 567 represents 1mm Use Access help anf type in TWIP.
