First Letter Cap after control update

I recently updgraded to access 2002 from access 2.0. A problem I am having is that in 2.0 I used this code to make first letter of a control a capital letter:

SubFirst_Name _AfterUpdate ()
Me![First Name]= Prper(Me![First Name])
End Sub

In Access 2002 this code is boming out on me. Anybody here know why? Or do does anyone know another way to accomplish this?
