If the DB was created with Access XP (2002) or Access 2003 and you are using Access 2000 or earlier then this is what will happen when you try to open the file.
It has nothing to do with the Snitz forum, I have used them for years. Check your version of Access.
Tip - Check out ServerHackers version of the Snitz forums
So, the DB is 2002 AND you have Access 2002 installed on your machine - correct?
Have you ever been able to open this .mdb?
Do you have any other versions of Access also installed?
Even if the runtime of an older version is installed it may be confusing things for the machine.
It could be that the DB has become corrupt too. Do you make backups??
I would try a different computer, with Access2002 installed. That just might not work. If not, all might be lost. That happens to me sometimes with this forum.
I don't think this is the case with yigal7 (Correct me if I'm wrong) but if one were to get this error and one needed the data (Not the functionability of the database) could you use Mail Merge and Word to get at it?
