I have a need to print information on reports with a font size smaller than 8. Can this not be done in Access. Any help out there?

Also. I am having trouble positioning fields in report design mode precisely where I want them. The "minimum" amount of movement that Access does moves the field further than I want the field moved. Not enough precision. Does anyone know what I am talking about, and can you help? Thanks -Mark

You should be able to do this with True Type Fonts. Even though when you choose the font size, 8 point may be the smallest choice, you can type directly in the dropdown list a smaller font size and Access will scale the font down for you. If you get to small the fonts become unreadable. This has more effect on some fonts more than others.

Thanks RDH. Now that I know how to make smaller fonts, I will have to get a bigger monitor in order to read the fonts on the screen. Some of the products that I produce using Access have fonts as small as 4 points - which look fine when they print, but you sure can't see them on the screen.

Take care, MJM

As to the second question. You can type numbers to at least 4 decimal places in the Top, Left, Height, and Width properties.
