form backgrounds

Okay - this has got to be easy but ...

Is there a way to change the background color & texture of a form without changing the font of all the text on it. The Autoformat feature trashes the text and UNDO doesn't apply.

I'd like to try out a variety of backgrounds to see what I like best with my text.

Also - can I use my own backgrounds ?

You can simply by using a picture, one of many backrounds available from say Publisher, even Office CD. You may have to tile the backround to get the form filled, but be warned adding pictures etc to forms/reports will bloat your DB

In design view for your form eight click on the back ground and bring up the properies box. Tha background color is a variable that can be changed from there,... right click off the form in design view and select properties, from there you can change the background. wither one of these changes them in design view so you can see what the form looks like without saving the form
