PMFJI but I've seen no code posted by the original poster. For all we know, post 6 indicates the sample code may have been copied verbatim and there is no control called "btnGo" or whatever. In that case, what's running the code? If that's not the reason for the OLE error, I'd ask if this is a web database. If not posting a db copy, at least post the code that's generating an error along with info on how it's being called.
