Form & Column Size

My Form opens with Popup and Model set to Yes.
It's in Datasheet view.
I drag it to the size I want, then move the columns to a best-fit width. And save the Form. (Or save the whole db perhaps... hard to know)

Next time It opens it's not changed, and I repeat the operation again and again. What do you do do make it stay the size and column width set ?

Hi. No guarantees but try these steps:


1. Open the form in design view
2. Change border to "sizable"
3. Drag the border to resize your form
4. Hit Ctrl+S
5. Change the border to "thin"
6. Close the form


I may be remembering those steps out of order, so you may have to experiment.

When opened in Design view, I don't see the Form as a Form, or anything resembling when its opened. There's a thin row of controls under "Form Header" and Form Detail.

It's width is not the Width it becomes, or the wanted width.

Border Stye is on Sizeable. I don't see where to set that "thin".

Once again, this would be a good case of being able to see and touch what you're working with. Is this form in the sample file you just uploaded?

Why so hard? Should be a logical and straighfoward, surely. B***** Access!!
