Hello,

I've designed a form in Access 2007 that opens fine on my computer, but will not open from another computer. We can, however, right click to design view and then open form view.

Does anyone know why clicking on the form in the navigation panel will work on one computer but not another?

Thank you!

The form is opening at the top left of my Access window so that I don't believe it is hidden from view on the other computer.

I haven't yet received a solution or reply to this. Please take a look.

Sorry, do you say that the form is actually opening on both but it is minimised on one?
Are you using different version of Access/Office?

Hi James,

Thank you for your reply. The version for both systems is Access 2007. The form just doesn't open. We don't see it minimized on the screen. We can access the form by going to design view with right click and then to form view at the ribbon.

Is this a shared Front end i.e. both computers are accessing the exact same file?

Can you provide some detail on how the form works when it is being opened i.e. do you click a button and is it opened by code or is it a macro etc...

Hi JD,
We're very simply clicking in the navigation panel to open the form. There is a macro but it works just fine on my machine.

Thank you for your reply!

1) In the computer where the application is not working as expected, is a Trusted Location configured for the directory the database file is located in?

2) If so, please try these steps with a COPY of your database to see if this process with restore proper operation:
