Form loading slow after table change

Hi Guys, my first post so sorry if I get something wrong.

I have a form which is intermittently loading slow..real slow up to 30 mins. I have tracked this down to it only occuring when I have fiddled with the table it is linked to...any change such as the sort order or even column widths ( the field I fiddle with is a date field and I am looking directly at the table at the frequency of user activity). All other times the form loades in a flash.

All other forms in the database run unaffected.

You may need to review proper indexing of table fields.
