form question

Hello all
First i would just like to say hi as this is my first post.
i am looking to set up a system by which someone enters some details into a form like name, email gender and other data.
i would then like this data to be exported to a word file or into a file that contained a form that i could then print.
any ideas anyone?

You could do it that way, but you might want to consider creating an Access Report and printing that instead. The advantage of the Access Report is that if multiple pages becomes an issue, formatting of additional pages will not have to be taken into consideration, since the formatting would be automatic.

to be honest i am completely lost
do you know of any tutorials for doing this?

i was thinking of setting up a database with all the fields then having a mail merge button that would insert the data into a form
the only thingh is i dont know how to do this!
do you know of a tutorial or walthrough for this idea and yours?
