Hi, hope someone can please help. I am working with form and the source of the form is a query. Within the query I have had to creat new fields using formulas. My question is would this be causing the form to take so long to open? Or why else would my query/form take so long to run? All my tables have primary/indexes. there are only 5 tables being linked and only pulling 15 fields. 5 of the fields are based on formulas. How can I get this to run faster? Any help will be greatly appreciated. thank you.

Simple formulas wouldn't slow a query much unless they have aggregate functions like DLookUp, DSum, DWhatever. Subqueries can really slow a query.

It's hard to know what you problem might be without seeing it. Can you upload you database?
