Form refresh

I have a form that opens blank with a combo box that has different customers listed.

I'm trying to have the other fields display associated data when a customer is chosen and to be able to save the record if any changes are made.

when i have the "Data Entry" form field set to "No", the customer drop down refreshes the other fields when i choose a customer.

when u have the "Data Entry" form field set to Yes, the customer drop down does nothing when i choose a customer.

i tried adding a "Refresh" button, but it seems inert and doesn't do anything.

Try creating a subform and then placing it on your form with your combobox then set your Link Master Fields to your combobox and your Link Child Fields to the controlling customers field of your subform. Once you choose a customer with your combobox it should display its record in the subform.

When a form is set to data entry=yes then it only displays a new record - which of course is blank until you enter details
