form says calculating

hi all can you help please , I have been given a form and when I run it the word calculating shows in the very bottom left of the window , it seems to be re calculating all the time , it does not seem to be stopping anything working but just slows it down , it has a clock on the front screen, do you think it has something to do with that or is it something else?

Probably is the clock, but I doubt if that is slowing things down significantly. Why do you need a clock on a form?. Don't most computer have one on the task bar?
