Form Shrinking

Can anybody help me?. in Access 2007 I found my saved forms are shrinking as dot. when opening it goes to a small dot and not opening. after end task through Windows, making correction in design mode then opening, but sometimes happening the same.

I've moved your post as it was originally in sample databases which is a moderated area.

When you say it opens as a dot, do you men it is minimised?
If so look for code that minimises it on form load.
Also try opening, dragging the border to a larger size, save then reopen normally

This sometimes happens when using multiple monitors and pop up forms that can be moved outside the normal access window. For some reason access decides to resize the form to fit but because it "off screen" it end up shrunk to virtually nothing.

As Colin pointed out the only fix is to open in design view resize and save again.

First of all thanks to my brothers who spent times to answer me.

The problem still bothering me!!!.
I found a main cause of shrinking is in Saving time. When i close directly after design, without pressing save button and wait for 8 ~10 second then there is possible to corrupt the form.
Now I am saving the form (while it is in design mode) first and wait for few seconds then closes it. In this case next time opening without shrinking.

this is my observation. not sure.
If anybody have this type of experience Pl. post here.

Do any of these events (close, unload, activate, deactivate) fire (well any events really). Upload your db, if you can.

Do you have dual monitors as Minty suggested? Dual monitors gives me no end of trouble with forms not opening in the visible monitors (off-screen).

Brother I tried in different ways the shrinking problem still exist. really fed up.
it happens suddenly. while in working mode, (means data entry) suddenly shrinks the form to a small square. in this situation i have to do endtask from Windows by pressing Ctrl+Del.

My desktop PC configurations: O/S Windows7, 32bit. i5Microprocessor. Access 2007.

in shrinking case. all forms are same, doesn't mean a specific form is shrinking.

Please could you post a printscreen when the form(s) are shrinked?
Have you tried to work with the database at another computer?
Is the database the only database that have the problem?

This description makes me ask two questions.

First question: When the sequence of events occurs as you described in that quote, where is the database you are updating? Specifically, is it local or remotely located on a server?

Second question (IF AND ONLY IF "Remote" was the answer): How are you connected to the remote server? Using Windows File Sharing or some other method? If you are working on a local copy, this question is moot.

Form shrinking problem SOLVED!.

I reinstalled office and updated fully again, then it works fine.
I think the shrinking problem was due to any missing file.
