Form Sizing and..

I have an order form and a Payment form. On the order form I have a button (maybe put two) to View/Add a Payment. When I open the Order form I want it to be Maximized, and when I press the View/Add Pay Button(s) I only want a little form, in the center of the Order form to show. Then when I close it the Pay Form, the Order form will still be there maximized, so nothing really changed.....

In adition, is it difficult to have the realted payment totaled together on the pay form, to show on the Order, so I can determine how much is left to pay on the Order. I don;t think it's difficult, seems like just having the text box equal to the value on another form...(but will I have to specify the Order number??? or will it toatl ALL Payments for ALL Orders)

You'll have better luck with responses if you post your questions separately.

#1: Open your pay form as a pop-up.

#2: Try it out and see if it works. You should be able to specify the name of a control on another form for the control source of a control on a different form:

=Forms!MyOtherForm!MyOtherControlname

I tried the pop up and it worked. I thought the pop up was for on editing, thats why i refrained. Thanks.

I figure the record ssource should be straight forward....
