formatted telephone number in a report (1 Viewer)

I wish to print a list of names & addresses and telephone numbers in a single line on a page. So I am using an expression to do this but even though I have an input mask on the field in the query generating the report, the phone number appears on my report as just a string of numbers (no spaces or brackets)

Use the format proprty of the control to set the format - something like

"(00000)000 000"

should do it(without the quotes)
