Hi, I have an excel sheet that needs formatting but won't work for some reason.

I have 3 fields

Outcome - Date of Action - Date of Review.

I need Date of Review to highlight red if is less than a cell with a TODAY() formula in showing todays date.

I have used formatiing to say Cell Value Less Than R4, but nothing happens.

My date of review field contains a formula which is Date of Action cell + 90, which gives me a date 90 days after Date of Action.

This is used to highlight if an Action is overdue.

I also need to Date of Action field to highlight red if the Outcome field does not equal "compliant" and if the Date of Action field does not contain a date then it stays red until a date is entered.

Can anyone help with this?

I have attached Excel sheet below. If you change the numbers in the red, amber, yellow, green fields then the outcome field will change.

Cheers
Will

The first error in your spreadsheet which may help with other areas is that the conditional formatting for cell P13 should be for the 'Cell Value Is' as opposed to the 'Formula Is'. I assume you will need to correct this for the rest of the row.

In addition, your outcome can return "FALSE" as non of the criteria are met when the red = 1, Green = 40, and Total = 41.

In terms of conditional formatting against the date, when I looked at your spreadsheet, automatic calculation was turned to manual in the options. This meant that the conditional formatting in row Q wasn't calculated unless you pressed 'F9' or switched on automatic calculation.

I think this should sort out your questions above, but I may have missed something. If so, just reply and I will have another look.
