I am in the US Air Force. I have a form that requires individuals to type in their squadron (such as 52 LRS) and their office symbol (such as LGRSS). The report is built to print out their letterhead for their squadron. The format is supposed to be squadron/office symbol (such as 52 LRS/LGRSS). Some squadrons have longer names than others and it is messing up my spacing to something like "52 LRS / LGRSS."

Well, I have a question on how to get it to automatically put the "/" in the center of the two without having to leave all the space to accomodate longer squadron names.

Thanks,

Drew

I forgot to mention...

I forgot to mention that I can not set it up to input into the table with the "/" because the squadron is used eslewhere in the form and this will not be authorized.

Any help is greatly appreciated,

Drew :(

Andrew,

Insert an unbound textbox in your report and set its record source to:

Code:
=[squadron] & "/" & [office symbol]
