Hi all,

I have a challenge that I am trying to solve. I have to represent the following in a form using subforms.

Employer_Applicant
EmplAppID
EmpAppName

Employer_Applicant_Application_Relate
ID -(auto increment)
EmplAppID
ApplicantID

Applicant
Applicant ID
ApplicantName
Other

The basic premise is this: Each employer can have multiple applicants that it applies on behalf of. When viewing an Employer (Employer Applicant), you will be able to see all the applicants that Employer has applied for on their behalf. The applicant info pertains to the applicant themselves. The applicants existence in this relate means that their employer has submitted the information on their behalf. Any help is appreciated.

Thanks,

Dave

1. Create a main form with the recordsource being your employer table.
2. Write a query that links the Employer_Applicant_Application_Relate and Applicant table together. Make sure that the EmplAppID is included in the query.
3. Create your subform using the query from step two as your recordsource.
4. In the Properties/Data tab of the subform field set the Link Child Fields and Link Master Fields to EmplAppID.
