First let me apologise if this question has already been asked. I have searched the forum and haven't found any that match my problem. Also I am not sure if I am posting this in the relevant section.
Ok now that's out of the way let me begin
We are currently running Microsoft Access 2000, which is stored on a network share.
We currently have one user that seems to be having a problem opening up certain forms in our customer database. When they double click on the form, it starts to open then nothing appears. The annoying thing is that occasionally the forms open up fine.
Initially I thought i might be a problem with the database in general. So I checked that the forms could be opened by other users. All other users can open this forms fine.
I then copied the database from the network on to the user's local drive and tried opening the forms, but we still have the same problem. The next step I tried was repairing the users installation of Microsoft Office, this had no effect. I then tried a complete uninstall and install of Microsoft Office, again no effect.
The next thing I am thinking of trying is reformatting the user's pc.
Can anyone please come up with some suggestions before I reformat the pc?
I thank you in advance for any help
