Forms not staying maximized

Here is the senario

I have two modal popup forms that are maximized. On the form that is in the forefront there is command button that opens a report. The on open event property of the report has DoCmd.Maximize in it to mazimize the report.

The problem lies when the report is closed. The two modal popup forms are no longer maximized. I have tried puttin the DoCmd.Mazimize on the GotFocus event property but that had no effect.

Does anyone have any ideas. I need these forms to be maximized.

Perhaps you could maxamize the form from the close event of the report.

Either that, or don't maximize the report. Is the rpt modal and popup too? It has to be, otherwise you wouldn't see it on top of the forms.

Beware though, if you have "stacked" objects inside of the viewable area in Access and you maximize or restore one of them, the rest follow suit. IDK if there is a fix for it, but from a software manufacturing standpoint, it doesn't really make sense to include it anyway (even if it is possible).

Also, when the report is open, try closing it with the 'X' and see if it seems like it shrinks in size before going away. That means it's restoring itself, and the forms will likely follow regardless of their props.
