Forms/reports don't remember page size and margins

It seems like at arbitrary times I will change something in the layout of a form or a report and all of the page and margin choices reset to a default 8.5x11 sheet in portrait, when I want something else. Is there a way I can set it in the code so that it always uses the page size/orientation/margins that I want each one to use?
