forms/subforms

Glad to hear that you are coming to a resolution. Good luck on the project!

What does this mean I have made some modifications to a report and now I get this before I am able to view the report Enter in Parameter value
tblEmpJobQual.EmpJobQualID it is like a form with the entry box with command options OK and cancel. I am able to get my data in the report but I shouldn't have to press ok to continue to get to the report.

It usually means that the table.field specified is in the report but not in the query that feeds data to the report. The query is treating it like a parameter for which it needs a value. Make sure the spelling is correct too; I've made stupid spelling mistakes which led to the same problem.

You were correct I did have a misspelled word in the table. However, I have noticed that if I have a crossed trained employee when I print it it only prints the first record how would I manipulate the report so that the second job title with descriptions will also print under his name.

I was able to get the second record to show up on the report however, I want that record to show up on a separate page (if at all possible) on a new page just like what we did for the original record. I have used the before section, after section and both and it just separates all the data instead of keeping it together. If this cannot be done I understand and it is alright.

You might try manipulating the sorting and grouping parameters of the report as well (see attachment). I am not that good with reports, so I usually just play with all the parameters until I get what I want.

Ok I wil give it a try otherwise I am going to leave it. It all works now I just need to watch my typing

I have one quick question my subreport is duplicating on the second page of my report. Is there a way to have it only show up once besides creating a separate report?

It is hard to diagnose what is happening without looking at the query behind the report & subreport. If you run the query by itself, what does the data look like? You might be missing a relationship in the query behind the subform, but that is only a guess at this point
