How do I search for some help on calcation based on formula table? I inherited this database from an ex employee. The table looks like following. I am sure I have to change it to something legible

table name = tblVesting
Year 100Immed 1YrCliff 5Graded 3Cliff
0 100 0 20 0
1 100 100 40 0
2 100 100 60 0
3 100 100 80 100
4 100 100 100 100
5 100 100 100 100
6 100 100 100 100
7 100 100 100 100
8 100 100 100 100

There is another table called tblGrpInfo where we put in the client information and what type of the vesting they are on (for example, 100 % immediate, 5 graded)

There is another table called tblPartInfo where we keep individual employee's information about their date of hire, birth, ssn, year of service and currenly vestes in the pension plan.

For example, a company called ABC is set to 5 year graded vesting schedule.

We want to be able to lookup values in the tblvesting and find out what is the new calculated vesting for that participant. Say a participant called and he/she is vested 20%, he/she will give us a new years of service, and say the new year of service now is 3, so she/he is now 40% vested.

Can anyone please direct me to right path ? I tried vlookup but it's not gonna work the way tblvesting is setup. I am willing to change the tblvesting table structure. Please suggest.
