Dear Members, I need some help.
I have a Report with Page Headers, Detail and Page Footer.
When the Details are filled with a full page of 10 records, the Report creates a second Page instead of printing just 1 page, with the Footer totals at the bottom.
If the Detail has 9 records, 1 page prints, with the footer totals at the bottom, which is correct.
If the Detail has 11 records, 2 pages print, page 1 prints the Details 10 records and I have a literal in the Footer that states ‘Continued on next Page’ and then the second page with 1 Detail record prints and the footer totals print at the bottom of that page, which is correct.
I have noticed that when 10 records are to be printed, which is 1 full page, the Me.Pages value, in the On format Event, is 2, when the value should be 1. That is why I’m not getting the Footer totals on the first page and the report is going to a 2nd page, which ends up blank except of the Report Header and the 'Continued on next Page'. I’m not able to change Access 2007 Me.Pages system value, nor should I have to.
One strange thing is that if I change the spacing in the Details or in any one of the Headers, the problem for 10 records goes away, because the Report will have 8 or 9 records on the first page and 1 or 2 records on the second page. Then the second page has the proper Footer. I don’t think that is a good solution; because it does not allow me to Format the Report properly and I think the problem could happen with a different amount of Detail records.
If anyone has any idea on how to resolve this, please let me know!
Thank you in advance for your time.
