Gantt Chart Woes

Thanks Minty, I’ve had to shoo this Good Idea Fairy away for the time being, but will come back to this ASAP.

I downloaded the DB and you and jleach were spot on - it is a beautiful piece of work with a user manual to boot.

Even though I want to convert a chart into records in a table, and this does the opposite, I set about trying to reverse engineer it...but then I thought about Mark’s advice and I will try to convince the powers that be to use it as is...after all it already comes with user manual.

We will see I fare. Excellent tip Minty, thanks again!

NG,

For what its worth, I'm of the opinion that we need to find the Good Idea Fairy, break her legs, and leave her bleeding in a ditch some where.

I agree that this is very impressive

Peter Hibbs' work using the Flexgrid ActiveX control is also extremely interesting & again comes with detailed guidance

You can download several examples from various sites including
http://www.rogersaccesslibrary.com/forum/hibbs-peter_forum21.html

The Flexgrid demo is a good starting point

NOTE: the supplied flexgrid control msflxgrd.ocx does not work in 64-bit Access
