Garbled Text in Query viewer and tables

I have searched with no avail for this simple and common and very annoying problem that I have seen on every computer I've used Access 2007 on:

When side scrolling from left to right in the query window or on tables, once I start moving to the right, all the text in the fields becomes distorted and unreadable. I have to sit and wait and move my mouse slightly for it to clear up.

Is this some graphics acceleration setting, or just a flaw with Access?

Is there a simple fix for this?

It happens to me all the time. It probably has to do with graphics speed. Short of buying a gaming computer, I'm not sure there is a solution.

I am actually on a gaming computer and still having the issue. I guess it is an inherent problem with Access that hasn't bugged anyone enough for them to fix...
