Attached db includes a module with function to assign next number in tables for fields where you do not want you miss the number in between
like invoice numbers or voucher numbers for you application
When you use autonumber it does not issue same number again if you cancelled it once whether it is used or not
like wise you cannot get the missing number in between by using dmax function
this function "getNextNumber" include another option to start your number from some specific point like 1000 or 1050
just import the module or copy the function in module_1
