1. The full, editable database is copied to the host computer
2. Access 07 runtime is installed on the host computer, and all other networked computers
3. I can edit the structure of the database remotely from my computer that is on the network (I am the only one with a full retail version of Access, but mine is not the host computer)
4. Other shared computers can access the database

5. The pesky startup dialogue goes away
Does any one know of a way to make this work? Seems the Microsoft tip only works if you deploy Access runtime and a locked copy of the DB to all computers, which defeats the purpose of having an editable shared database, IMHO.
