Get rid of startup dialog?

Bob,

Can you update this? I am running 2007 and I do not have access to decreasing the macro security level.

Thanks,

Steve

Never mind, I got it.

Just found this - maybe it will help:

http://support.microsoft.com/kb/937999

Hi guys. This works, but I need to do this:

1. The full, editable database is copied to the host computer
2. Access 07 runtime is installed on the host computer, and all other networked computers
3. I can edit the structure of the database remotely from my computer that is on the network (I am the only one with a full retail version of Access, but mine is not the host computer)
4. Other shared computers can access the database

-AND-

5. The pesky startup dialogue goes away

Does any one know of a way to make this work? Seems the Microsoft tip only works if you deploy Access runtime and a locked copy of the DB to all computers, which defeats the purpose of having an editable shared database, IMHO.

thanks,

-Emery
