Am I missing something here, or is it impossible to remove the auto formatting on a form, like the "blueprint", "sumi painting" etc.??

I can't seem to just change the background to a solid color.

How does one do this?

Thanks in advance.

P.S. I may just be thick, it's probably something simple, right?

Does this webpage help, or this webpage? Or, if you click on Tools -> Options -> Forms -> set the form template to 'Normal' (without the quotes). For individual forms, go into the form design, Click Edit -> Select Form, Click View -> Properties -> Format tab -> have a play with the picture settings (set the 'Picture' to (none) - with the brackets).
HTH, Andrew :)

Thanks Andrew

The last suggestion did the trick, the one with changes the picture property to (none).

I hope MS realises that one option in the Auto Format dialog should be "None"

Many thanks & Cheers,

Ken
