GIS with Access

Has anyone tried to build GIS for access or VB that I would be able to use?

I was look for some free code? Can you draw polylines and import raster map in to your program?

That can never be done in access. The only thing that i did is making access my FE for just its user interfaces then, linking my tables to a mysql database which stores data for my maps that i display over the WEB. So iam Basically talking about access to mySQL to webGIS.

I agree with skea. No problems using Access to hold your GIS data, but you need a proper GIS program to do the plotting and mapping. We use ArcView from ESRI.
