All my users have a shortcut on there computer to the database.

What I like to do is create a new shortcut.

But I don't want to go to each users desk and change the old one to to new one.

There should be someway that you can do a global change.

Anybody have an idea how this can be done?

I think thats outside Access capability, more of Windows...

You can just replace the existing database instead with the new one, move the old one to another place.

Use WinZip to package the shortcut and email it [and over write [replace] the old shortcut]. Or you can copy and replace the file if the file is installed in the same location for all users and all users have access to a directory on your network where the new shortcut is located. Search around for there are code examples on how to copy a file with VBA.
