Is there a way a button or two can be created on a summary worksheet when clicked on can take you to the detail worksheet? I am going to have alot of wooksheets and could use a way to get to any one of them quicker then back to the summary worksheet the same way....

You could use the free add-in ASAP Utilities. It allows you to make a clickable index of all worksheets. Then use Brian's suggestion about hyperlink on each worksheet to go back to the Index worksheet.

I've not used the ASAP utilities, does that provide an advanced form of Index as compared to right clicking on the sheet navigation arrows.

It will create (in seconds) a new worksheet with every worksheet listed (in Column A), and each worksheet name is hyperlinked to the approrpiate worksheet; single-clicking on the worksheet name, will take user directly to that worksheet.

There must be more to it as that is too similar to right clicking in the sheet navigation buttons, it opens a list of sheet names and you click on the one you want to go to.

Does it automatically remain uptodate if sheets are added, deleted, renamed?

To be worthwhile it must have other features eg
Can you use it as a base to create your own index ie with diffent hyperlinks to take you to different places on a worksheet?
