I have created a report, query and graph ("Combination" Type graph).

The Graph measures 5 indices correctly, changing across the 12 months (along the X axis), BUT my problem is that the system automatically decides which data series is going to be reflected as a line and which by a bar/histogram.

As I am plotting 5 of the query fields for every month (a total of 60 points on each graph) the portrayal can be quite busy. I really need to to able to change the properties myself (the shape and the colour) to make it clear for the users.

I hoped I might find this ability when I right-clicked or perhaps under 'options' but it isnt there. Access does not allow me to change the shape, but I can change the properties of a preset shape (fill-colour etc).

Any help ?

(oh, instead of using the chart wizard I gop to the drop down Insert > Object > Microsoft Graph Chart object and drop it onto my report as I seem to get more options that way).

HELP !!

Try Double-Clicking on the Graph Object First. The Graph Object will be automatically loaded into Microsoft Graph Application for editing and it's Menus will appear. You will be able to individualy select and change Series Values, Axis Values, Legends, Color or other options like title etc. or Graph Type itself. When you done with the editing click somewhere outside of the graph to return control to Report.
