grouping and summarizing in query

Is it possible to group and summarize fields while in a query instead of doing it in the report section? Please find the query attached.
For each day, I need to group the "Expr1" field (shifts employees worked) and "Date" field and to summarize their corresponding "Cases" and "LBS" values.

This is how I need to see it (actual groups and totals):

01-Apr-08 6136 121317.78 SHIFT1
01-Apr-08 6935 131899.94 SHIFT2
01-Apr-08 7169 144949.29 SHIFT3
02-Apr-08 8229 169379.26 SHIFT1
02-Apr-08 9259 202454.86 SHIFT2
02-Apr-08 6754 141018.96 SHIFT3

Any help is highly appreciated!

You have to change all the fields you want to "group by" on to "group by"
Then change the Cases and LBS fields to "sum"
And all other fields that are there to limit the query, set them to where....

Is that what you are looking for?
