Grouping of report dosnt work properly

Hi,

I have made a report based on a table. In the first column of the table is a ClubName. There are 12 Clubs with about 30 or so rowws in them (i.e. 30 of Club named 'North', 30 of Club named 'South' etc).

I have created a report based on this table and am grouping the pages by Club (or trying to anyway). My problem is that after eight or so pages of laying it out perfectly, it loses its grouping and merges players from different Clubs together. Im not sure is I need to add in another level of grouping or not. At the moment its grouped by Club by Player.

I hope Ive explained this well enough for someone to point me in th right direction.

the grouping of a report is specified in the report, NOT in the underlying query.

are yu sure the REPORT grouping is correct.

I have the club name (which is what I want to group the pages by) in the Page Header of the layout and in the grouping settings box, have it set to:

Group on each value
Group Interval - 1
Keep Together - whole group

Some of the club lists spill over to 2 pages so I want to still displa the club name and column headings on each page....................
