I see that n8n also has connectors for Microsoft Sql Server, so connecting to an Access project could start with the data
Has anyone experimented with n8n and offer some advice?

I have started to learn n8n. It looks amazing! I'm in the very first stages though, having created my first workflow. I am doing a self hosted community edition, running on hetzner web hosting. Total cost is like $7 per month for unlimited number of executions. It took me a while to set up because I ran into all sorts of issues. But you can install it on your home computer very easily. I put it on a host so it is guaranteed to run executions 24/7, regardless of the status of my home computer.

....But you can install it on your home computer very easily....

I don't quite understand one thing
Suppose you install it on a local system, within your LAN, then you can use it without paying anything?
And then, what's the connection between n8n and the local management system?

My understanding is that installing it on your local system is free. But verify for yourself. The version that you host on a VPS is also free, but you need to pay the hosting fee. If you want to use their cloud version, which is fast to setup, then that costs.
