Has anyone ever experienced Hash Values (########) replacing Times in MS Access Reports?

This is arising in a deployed Database using MS Access Runtime 2007.

My limited knowledge in this area would lead me to think of data overflow or issues with Windows and/or customised field property settings, but I've checked these out and they look fine? Indeed on one particular report showing both an Event Start Time and Event Elapsed Time the first time appears as ####### whilst the other presents as expected e.g. 02:23:24

Stumped!

This would generally be an indication that the text box that is displaying the time is not wide enough.
That is: the box should be at least .75 inches wide to display the time. It is currently only .5 inches wide.
You will not be able to remedy this with the runtime version as it does not allow programming or design changes. If you know someone who have the full Access 07 on their computer, you can make a copy of your database, make the changes on their computer and then reinstall your up-dated database on your computer.
Ideally, you would open your report in design view, increase the width of the text box and then open it in print preview. When you no longer have the ******* and have an actual time, you will know it is wide enough.

Thanks for the response ... but I have checked the field widths and formats are the same for two fields on the same reported record yet one field prints correctly the other does not ... sorry if my example above suggested differently ... so wondering whether it's a Runtime 2007 issue as the 'Master' program on full licence of Access 2007 does not display any such error?

Paul:

This is not a runtime problem, or at least it shouldn't be. The runtime version will run everything the full version will run, it just does not allow changes.

I agree! However seeing is believing as they say!
