In the light of it being Friday - i'm off for a pint. Enjoy your weekend - whatever you do - and in light of last weekend and today in mali, celebrate it, no matter how mundane .

Thanks. Have a good weekend yourself. :)

Have a nice weekend. My prosecco has slidden down nicely soon to be followed by a glass of best malt whisky

Unfortunately, we're expecting the first snow of the season tonight, and the first snow always highlights how 90% of Michigan's population forgets each summer how to drive in the winter.

Sooooo I'll be staying home, enjoying my vodka, gin, rum, tequila, triple sec, sour mix, lemon (or maybe lime this time) juice, and splash of Coke, and not having to worry about idiots trying to drive 80 mph on several inches of snow in the dark.

The aftermath of Friday and Saturday's snowfall. It was only 8 inches here, but that was enough for me to feel no need to leave the apartment yesterday.

No snow here - but its cold, so after Friday - I popped out once to see the footy. After that I have hidden under a blanket watching on demand.

That picture looks lovely.

Oh, weekends are always working days,.....this weekend, raking tons of leaves and burning them (so much for global warming), Skinning and processing the deer I had gotten earlier. Putting another coat of Poly on my grandfathers chest made of cedar, put out hay for the animals, winterize the remaining items that need it even though it is about 35 degrees outside and so on and so on.

Never a dull weekend around here.

Hope all of you have a nicer one.
