I am new to Access as I now want something more robust and flexible than Excel. So far, my relationship with Access is love-hate. The learning curve is steep...and my head hurts...but I am making progress and love to learn. I often feel like I'm trying to ride a wild horse!
I live in Ohio, USA. I am an orthodontist (braces), have two children (my daughter is a MD anesthesiologist and my son is a computer engineer/software developer). I day-trade stocks and my current interest in Access relates to a project to track and harvest information about my trades in an effort to improve my performance.
I'm pretty good with (and enjoy) solving problems myself by reading, reasoning and experimentation. However, sometimes I hit that brick wall and things stall to a point where the whole project gets off schedule. I know I will learn some things here and hopefully I can contribute too.
Semper Fi to all of my USMC brothers and thanks for serving your country and your Corps.
