[Resolved] Hello and Herewith a syntax problem

Hello to all,
Blessings to you all.
I am Kobus Dippenaar, MSAccess programmer, Photographer, and Website Developer.

My problem is in reading a DAO recordset containing a text field of 12 Characters.
Here is my extracts;
The Find First statement:
rstDC.FindFirst "DC_KDate = " & Me.Text20

Error:
Runtime Error 3070

Microsoft Access Database Engine does not recognise 'A2014B09C01Z' as a valid field name or expression

The syntax is taken from a working program, only difference is the field name.

Your comments will be appreciated.

I moved your thread from the introductions forum. Because this field is text it requires delimiters. Try:

rstDC.FindFirst "DC_KDate = '" & Me.Text20 & "'"

Yip! It is working.
Thank you kindly and Blessings.:D

ps! How do we mark this thread as resolved?
