I design desktop applications in MS Access in a Health Service environment.
I write some as standalones, some as network front ends and some as middle tier apps that interact with other proprietary data.
I am not school trained and over the past 18 years have developed some out of the box solutions simply because no one told me that some of the things I do can't be done in access. Go figure.
Anyway I rely heavily on forums like this to help with techie problems that have already been solved. Saves me tons of time with apps even if I don't know exactly why the code does what it does. I recognize helpful design when I see.
Bottom line I am thanking all contributors in advance and hope to reciprocate in return.
I don't do well in arguing the pros and cons of solutions, I know what has worked for me and understand that there are as many solutions to a problem as there are contributors.
Thanks for allowing me to pick your brains.
