Hi to all,

My name is Lucas. I joined this forum because I would like to learn how to create advanced databases in Access. Unfortunately, I'm just starting my adventure with this program but I believe that with your help I will be able to quickly spread my wings.

I already have experience in using Excel and writing basic macros.

I am happy to be part of this forum.

Greetings to all.

Lucas

Welcome to AWF.
PL/UK? Just out of interest, where is PL?

PL means Poland.

"Poland officially the Republic of Poland is a country located in Central Europe"

;)

PL / UK because I am currently working between these two countries and I spent half my life in each of them. So in this case it's not a post code.

:)

Welcome, Lucas. You are right - it CAN be quite an adventure.

Hi Lucas. Welcome to AWF!

Hi again Lucas.
Thanks for clarifying. For some reason Poland didn't come to mind.
I hope than Brexit won't cause you issues in the future.

LOL. You've mentioned me using acronyms before but I think I only rarely use them. I'm the right age group to know SWALK. Thankfully you didn't say NORWICH. That would be worrying!

Hi Colin :),

My current way of working that is my first step for my own Brexit. From the New Year I should be working only from Poland but I'm afraid that it starts to look like UK (T. May) Brexit ;) I'm keep to come back to England like a boomerang.... The dates of my final Brexit are starting to move...

I do not like the UK Brexit from the EU but luckily I could not vote so I will not be blamed for whatever will happen. I'm sitting on the side as a passenger on this train which at the moment is going nowhere now

Hi,

I'm sure of it. Access already gives me a headache, but I know that if I overcome some difficulties and learn the basics, then it will be like driving downhill. I'm sure that I found the best forum that will help me in all this.

That headache is merely a steep learning curve as you start to lift off the engine cover. The deeper you get, the more there is to learn. But it is like peeling an onion. Access has got layers. (Echoes of the movie Shrek and Donkey's plaintive, "But I like parfait.")
