Hi,
This is a bit like AA...
My name is Larry Posavad. I'm an engineering type at Belden Wire & Cable's facility in Tijuana, Mexico.
I try to be unique - I'm a Canadian citizen, living in the United States, and commuting daily to Mexico for work.
I'm not a formally trained programmer. Many of the concepts and languages available today didn't exist when I started out. When I left school, the big news were the IMSAI and Altair computers - GUIs were ten years in the future.
Having said that, I've taught myself to be reasonably good in the VB languages, primarily to ease data entry tasks at our facility. It still shocks me how readily people will sit in front of an application, fat-finger their data in, and never think to question if there is an easier way...
I HATE to work hard, but I'll bend over backwards to find an easier, less repetitive way to do something.
That's my story, and I'm sticking to it.
