Hey Everyone,
Real name is Stewart, but "Saelin" would be just fine. I live in Brooklyn, NY, and I'm 30 years old (I was born in England, btw). Anyway I stumbled on this site while researching Access and so I thought I'd join this motley crew.
I am well versed in MS Office in general including Visio, but I don't know Access too well in a real world setting. I have a Computer Information Systems degree, concentrating in Database Management so I have a grasp of the fundamentals and basic terminology. I landed this great new job as a Senior Analyst at a Hospital and using Access will be common place, which is exactly what I wanted so I can start learning the program inside out.
I recognize that my success can't just be through trial and error as DBs are too complex to half-ass it. Furthermore this will be mainly utilized on the job so I want to get some aspects right sooner and play with other cosmetic things that'll bear little consequences.
So anyway, I'm joining the group to learn and to hopefully be a help down the road. It's great meeting you all and I'm grateful such a forum exists in the first place. Take care for now...and look out for my first post in the near future (like within a couple of hours!)
