Hi everyone!
My name is Ali and I am very new to relational databases and Access. I've been trying to self-teach using a lot of different web-based information sources, and plenty of trial and error
There is so much information out there to learn about Access and relational database design, but so much of it is impossible to understand if you don't already have a developer background.
This forum has been by far the most helpful resource I've come across in all my searching--I have so much respect for all of you experts out there who are willing to take time to teach and help those of us who don't really know what we're doing a lot of the time.
My first and (so far) only database project is one to keep track of consultant, vendor, and project records for a tech consulting company, and has proven to be a much more difficult undertaking than I first envisioned. I had no idea when I started this project how much actual coding I would need to do to get it all working properly! Thanks to all of you who have made my life easier by posting such wonderful detailed answers in other threads. I am looking forward to getting to know some of you better and becoming a part of a community that is based on sharing information so that we can all grow as developers!
